On the night of April 24, Russian forces launched a drone attack targeting the Ukrainian city of Odessa. The assault struck multiple residential buildings, resulting in injuries to at least three civilians, according to statements from local military administration officials.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odessa City Military Administration, reported that the strikes damaged two two-story and one three-story residential buildings. Medical teams treated two injured individuals at one location, while a woman required hospitalization at another. Lysak also mentioned damage to a non-residential structure, though details remain limited as authorities continue to assess the situation.
Oleh Kiper, head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, confirmed that one of the drones hit a three-story building, destroying apartments on the second and third floors. Two people—a 72-year-old woman and a 52-year-old man—suffered shrapnel wounds, with the woman transported to a hospital for treatment. Additionally, broken windows and damaged vehicles were reported across other nearby buildings.
"Unfortunately, two people sustained shrapnel injuries in the attack," said Oleh Kiper, emphasizing the human cost of the strike.
